Michael left this world Monday, March 11th with his parents by his side. Michael lived in the Portland, Oregon area. A private funeral service will be held Friday, March 15 at 2p.m. at the Holman-Hankins-Bowker & Waud Funeral Home in Oregon City, OR.

Michael was born March 7, 1977 in Bismarck, ND to Jeff and Marcheta Hauge. He joined his older sister Nicole to complete their family. Mike will always be remembered by his family as the “white tornado” with his sparkling brown eyes, high energy, and his white bed-head hair.

He had a wonderful laugh with a great sense of humor. Mike grew up in Mandan and attended Mandan High School. He cooked at many local restaurants and eventually attended the French Culinary Institute in NYC.

Mike met Nicole Morris and together they created a family with son Eric Anderson, daughter Adriauna Hauge, and son Jamie Hauge. He loved his children and was very proud of them and will be thrilled with their future accomplishments. Nicole and Michael moved to the Portland, Oregon area in 2003.

He loved the Oregon Coast. As a family they were able to enjoy several trips to Disney World, Disney cruises, and Hawaii. Mike was a lifelong Philadelphia Flyers and Minnesota Vikings fan.

He loved a good joke, had a great sense of humor and a wonderful laugh. He loved his dogs, Teddy Bear, Sadie, Buddy, and cat Oreo. Michael is survived by his children Eric, Adriauna, and Jamie, his ex-wife Nicole, his parents Jeff and Marcheta Hauge, Sister Nicole (Monte) Albert, and their son Gabriel.

He is survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Delbert and Dorothy Schmidt and Herbert and Eileen Hauge. His family is comforted with the knowledge he is now at peace.
