Obituary for Michael Hubbard Michael J. Hubbard, 86, of Sherrill, Iowa passed away Thursday July 19, 2018. Private family services are being held. Michael was born on July 11, 1932 in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Wesley and Ethel (Fogelstrom) Hubbard.

He graduated from Senior High School. He served in the US Navy from 1953 to 1957. Michael was an avid hunter and fisherman who would spend months at a time in Canada on hunting trips.

He worked at John Deere Dubuque Works for 29 years, and was a member of the UAW local 94. Surviving are his son Rob (Lisa) Gassman of Dubuque, and their children Noah and Natalie. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Laurel Hubbard.
