Michael J. Michalik, 71, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Monday, September 3, 2018 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born in Coaldale, he was the son of the late John and Genevieve (Kostecky) Michalik. Michael was employed with Kraft Foods in Allentown, working as a lab tech.

He was a US Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam era, and was a member of the Allen O. Delke American Legion Post 16, Slatington. He is survived by a son: Jonathan M. Michalik and wife Christina of Easton; daughter: Jenna M. and husband Kody Fedorcha of Carmel, IN; 3 grandchildren; brother: Robert Michalik of Summit Hill; Sister: Maryann and husband Gerald Lennon of Pen Argyl. Private services will be held at Ft.

Indiantown Gap. Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home.
