Michael’s Obituary Michael J. Testa, age 93, of Hermitage, PA, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019 in Sharon Regional Hospital. Born March 4, 1926 in Farrell, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Christina Sparano Testa. He married the former Virginia O. Sellers on June 19, 1949 and she preceded him in death on January 3, 2004.

Michael was a Corporal in the United States Marine Corp. serving in Guadalcanal during WWII. After his military service he went to work for Sharon Steel, where he was a Sgt.

in the Security Department for 48 years, retiring in 1984. He was a member of the Farrell V.F.W. Post #5286 and also a member of St. Stanislaus Koska Church Michael is survived by two daughters, Michele LoGalbo of the Woodlands, Texas and Patricia and her husband Howard Swartz of Transfer, PA, four grandchildren, twins, Nicolo (Jennifer) LoGalbo and Caterina (Christopher) Voges, Gina (Jeremy) Hall and Matthew (Roze) Swartz and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home LLC, 264 E. State Street, Sharon, PA. A funeral service will take place on Friday at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Fr. Matthew J. Ruyechan officiating.

Full Military Honors will be performed by the Wheatland, American Legion – V.F.W. W. Middle – V.F.W. Farrell Honor Guard. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Farrell V.F.W., 1233 Idaho street, Farrell Pa.
