On this sad day, we lost a son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. A true loss to everyone that knew him. A pillar of the community, Michael spent most of his life working side by side with his dad, volunteering for Meals on Wheels and owned several rental properties.

Michael loved to travel, his favorite destination being Hawaii. He had a quirky sense of humor and liked to make people laugh. As hard as it is to say goodbye, we hope he has found peace and is no longer in pain.

We love you, Michael! Michael is survived by his mother, Darlene Duckett; sisters, Valerie Charles, Shannon Arzoian, and Pam Harrison; nieces, Alexandra Charles, and Chandler Charles; and nephews, Cody Duckett, Shad Covert, and Nollan Charles. A simple gathering open house service will take place between 1 and 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2019, at AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home.

All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Michael’s name to Meals on Wheels. AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home is handling the arrangements (www.
