Obituary for Michael L. Cothern Michael L. Cothern, age 56, passed away December 8, 2018. Born October 29, 1962 in Columbus, Ohio. Mike attended South High School before serving in the U.S. Air Force.

He worked in road construction for over 30 years. In his spare time he enjoyed traveling, scuba diving and was an avid pool player. He also loved watching Nascar and OSU football.

He is preceded in death by grandmother, Maxine Dennis and sister, Nuuana “Shelly” Deering. Mike is survived by wife of 18 years, Kathy; daughter, Stephanie (Tim Kendrick) Gillman; sons, Chaffe (Katie) Bolin, Joseph “Joey” (Amber) Bolin, and Clint Gillman and daughter in law, Sarah Gillman; grandchildren, Lexi, Josh, Ella, Riley, Carter, Cole, Judah, and Josie Jane and another granddaughter on the way; many other relatives and a host of friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 13 from 6 to 8 pm at O. R. Woodyard South Chapel 1346 S. High St. and Friday from 1 pm until the time of funeral service at 2 pm.
