Obituary for Michael L. East Michael East, 46, passed away peacefully at his home Wednesday, December 5, 2018 after a long battle with congestive heart failure. He was the Public Works Superintendent for the City of Hogansville and in his spare time he loved playing with his children, boating at West Point Lake and spending time laughing with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Dayna East; children, Avery and her mother Kristi East, Ashlee East; parents, Johnny and Elaine Harper; sister, Michelle and husband David Garner; brothers, Christopher and wife Kellie Harper and John Clayton and wife Stephanie Harper; niece, Morgan Garner; nephews, Logan and Camden Harper and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
