Michael Ray Jones, 62, of Scottsville, KY passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018 at his residence. The Wausau, Wisconsin native was a retired employee of Camping World, former employee of Gunter Roofing and Copenhagen, a U.S. Coast Guard veteran, a member of Red Hill General Baptist Church, Halfway Lodge #852 F & AM where he served as Past Master, Halfway Order of Eastern Star #267 for 28 years where he served as Worthy Patron and former District Deputy of Eastern Star. He was a son of the late Oscar Lafayette Jones and Alice Marie Harris Jones.

He is survived by his lifetime companion for 38 years: Wanda Stovall, Scottsville, KY; 3 special friends: Randy Stovall and wife, Rita; Anthony Stovall and wife, Frances and Amanda “A.J.” Scott and husband, Adam, all of Scottsville, KY; 2 brothers: Mark Jones and wife, June, IA; Patrick Jones and wife, Linda, Louisville, KY; 2 sisters: Cheryl Stinnett and husband, Jack, Buffalo, KY and Lora Aldridge and husband, Scott, Elizabethtown, KY; 6 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Lynn Herrington officiating and burial in Mt.

Union General Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday and after 7:00 A.M. Tuesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home. Halfway Lodge #852 F & AM will hold masonic rites at 7:00 P.M. Monday at Goad Funeral Home.
