Thomas Claypool McGuffey, 62, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at his residence. The Henderson, KY native was a self-employed auto CAD designer and attended Weldon Christian Church in Brandenburg, KY. He was a son of the late Buel D McGuffey, Sr. and Una Faye Claypool McGuffey.

He is survived by his wife: Rita Cook McGuffey, Scottsville, KY; 2 sons: Wesley Keith McGuffey and John Thomas McGuffey, both of Brandenburg, KY; 1 daughter: Meredith Faye Fuqua and fiancé, Jasen Jackson, Scottsville, KY; 2 brothers: Ken McGuffey and wife, Patricia Harston, Indianapolis, IN and Buel McGuffey, Jr. and wife, Gail, Scottsville, KY; 1 sister: Pamela McGuffey, Scottsville, KY; 5 grandchildren: Tyler Guenther, Justin McGuffey, Brennan Fuqua, Wyatt Jackson and Henry Liam McGuffey. Memorial service will be 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Gary True officiating.

Visitation will be after 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home.
