Dorothy May Stone, 94, of Scottsville, KY passed away Monday, April 30, 2018 at her residence. The Jefferson City, MO native was a homemaker, former elementary teacher at Custer Center in Broken Bow, Nebraska and West Wilson County Elementary in Mt. Juliet, TN and member of Scottsville Church of Christ where she was a former Sunday school teacher.

She was a daughter of the late Cap Leslie Dietz and Maugurite Holden Dietz and wife of the late Waymon Lee Stone. She is survived by 1 son: Wilson Lee Stone and wife, Lanna Jo, Scottsville, KY; 2 brothers: John Leslie Dietz and wife, Corky, Greeley, CO and Walter Dietz and wife, Bobbe, Broken Bow, Nebraska; 1 sister: Barbara Seevers, Indianola, Iowa; 1 granddaughter: Catherine Lee Stone. She was preceded in death by 1 son: Leslie Dietz Stone; 1 granddaughter: Elizabeth Leslie Stone; and 1 sister: Helen Embree.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Wells officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday and after 8:00 a.m. Sunday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.

Expressions of sympathy may take form of donations to Allen County Relay For Life.
