Elder Joe Tom Stinson, 84, of Scottsville, KY passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 at his residence. The Holland, KY native was a farmer, a Missionary Baptist Minister for 54 years and member of Rough Hill Missionary Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Cortez Stinson and Eula Mae Shockley Stinson and husband of the late Betty Sue Stinson.

He is survived by 1 son: Bro. Kennie Joe Stinson and wife, Sharon, Red Hill Community; 1 daughter: Donna Jean Petty and husband, Gary, Scottsville, KY; 2 sisters: Lavelle Land, Bowling Green, KY and Wanda Pearson, Scottsville, KY; 3 grandchildren: Amber Jo Fields and husband, Brandon; Amanda Boyd and April Shea Jernigan and husband, Jay; 8 great grandchildren: Greggory Baker, Tristan Fields, Bryce Fields, Ryder Boyd, Jaxton Boyd, Jayse Reed Taylor, Parker Yingling and Sophia Jernigan; Several nieces and nephews; He was preceded in death by 1 sister: Jean Napier. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro.

Lonnie Meador and Bro. Wayne Gregory officiating and burial in Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12:Noon Monday at Goad Funeral Home.
