Rondil Wood, 85, of Scottsville, KY passed away Friday, June 15, 2018 at his residence. The Scottsville, KY native was a farmer, self-employed logger, former construction worker, former employee of State Highway Department and member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Hayden “Bud” Wood and Maria Dawn Lewis Wood.

He is survived by his wife: Barbara Wood, Scottsville, KY; 1 son: Ronnie Wood and wife, Shawn, Scottsville, KY; 1 daughter: Kim Roark and husband, Steve, Scottsville, KY; 1 brother: Willie Jewell Wood, Indianapolis, IN; 2 sisters: Patsy Turk and Stella Elmore, both of Scottsville, KY; 6 grandchildren: Devin Wood; Drew Wood (Elizabeth); Austin Tabor (Laura); Elly Shockley; Madison Clay and Carson Clay; 3 great grandchildren: Kindle Wood, Ayda Wood and Aria Tabor; 2 step grandchildren: Corey Shockley (Jo Beth) and Taylor Vincent (Nathaniel); 5 step great grandchildren: Isaac McCoulough, Body Shockley, Avery Shockley, Dalton Vincent and Levi Vincent. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Diane Wood Shockley and her husband, Bruce Shockley. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 18, 2018 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro.

Robbie Calvert and Bro. Chris Vernon officiating and burial in Cedar Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12:Noon Sunday at Goad Funeral Home.
