Obituary for Joe Lewis Tooley Joe Lewis Tooley, age 77, of Tompkinsville passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at the Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville. He was born on June 28, 1941 in Monroe County, KY to the late Henry Albert Tooley and Beulah Mae Holland Tooley. As a young boy he attended the Hickory Ridge School in Monroe County.

He was a lifelong farmer, being employed with in many aspects of agriculture. He is survived by two sons: Joseph Tooley and wife Amanda and Sammy and wife Patricia Tooley both of Tompkinsville, One sister: Irene H. Murrell of Bowling Green, four grandchildren, two step – grandchildren, and one great-grandchild also survives. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Emma Andrews, Granddaughter: Adonica Shannell Graves, brothers: Guy Tooley, Morris Tooley, Richard Tooley, and Max Allen Tooley, sisters: Wilma Thelma Shirley, Florene Archey, Dana Lee Burrell, Ova Kirk, Eva Douglas, Willadean Tooley, and Nannie Lee Tooley.

Funeral services will conducted on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville. John Jordan will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Mt.

Nebo Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 29, from 9:00 AM until service time at 2:00PM Strode’s Funeral Home in Tompkinsville. In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to the family funeral expense.
