William Joe Kerney, 71, of Holland, KY passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018 at his residence. The Glasgow, KY native was a retired night watchman in Marion County, FL, former employee of Dollar General Corporation, U. S. Army veteran having served in Korea, Germany and Viet Nam and member of the Allen County Historical Society and Macon County Historical Society. He was a son of the late Orben Ford Kerney and Dorothy Juanita Spencer Powell.

He is survived by his wife: LaShelia Roark Kerney, Holland, KY; 2 sons: Daniel Shawn Kerney, Patterson, GA and David Burton and wife, Tina, Glasgow, KY; 2 daughters: Lorie Lynn Arrington and husband, George, Matthews, GA and Kimberley Burton, Nashville, TN; 1 brother: Marshall Kerney, Glasgow, KY; 3 sisters: Diane Ramos and Vicky Zimmerman, both of CA and Judy Wood, Glasgow, KY; 6 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and 5 great grandchildren. There will be no visitation or service at this time. Cremation was chosen.
