Vertie Mae Huntsman Wilson, 94, of Scottsville, KY passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Scottsville, KY native was a homemaker, former employee of Washington Overall Manufacturing, member of Maple Grove General Baptist Church and attended Union Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a daughter of the late William Henry Huntsman and Sarah Elizabeth Dotson Huntsman and wife of the late Granvil Cook Wilson.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Twyla Garmon and husband, Morris, and Teresa Williams and husband, Ronnie, all of Scottsville, KY; 3 grandchildren: Janea Hiser and husband, Mike; Julie Williams and husband, Tommy, and Daniel Garmon; 5 great grandchildren: Jack Garmon, Willow Garmon, Ava Hiser, Austin Hiser and Ryder Williams; 2 nieces: Betty Steen Miller and Willie Mae Throop and 1 nephew: L. C. Wolfe. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Charlie Huntsman and Henry Huntsman; 5 sisters: Theora Chandler, Rosie Wolfe, Mary Shaw, Ova Pardue and infant Pernie Alvie Huntsman. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro.

Maxie McGuffey and Bro. Pat Cline officiating and burial in Union Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12 noon Saturday at Goad Funeral Home.
