Billy Petty, 77, of Scottsville, KY passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Scottsville, KY native was a former employee of Washington Overall Manufacturing and an avid Pool player. He was a son of the late William Jewell Petty and Mary Susan Owens Petty.

He is survived by 1 sister-in-law: Judy Petty, IN; 3 nephews, 5 nieces and several great nieces and great nephews; He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: O.T. Petty and Eugene “Smiley” Petty; 4 sisters: Earline Payne, Magaline Richey, Zelma Spencer and Novice Witt and 1 nephew: Larry Spencer. Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Laura Turner Chapel with Bro. Danny Patrick officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be 12:Noon Sunday until service time. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
