David Brantley West, 84, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the Medical Center at Scottsville. The Knoxville, TN native was a retired truck driver for Overnite and member of Highland General Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Samuel Jack West and Lillian Elizabeth Wallace West.

He is survived by his wife: Wilma West, Scottsville, KY; 2 sons: Glen Allen West and wife, Pam, Bowling Green, KY and Jr. Bray and wife, Pat, Scottsville, KY; 3 daughters: Pamela Carmon and husband, Donald, and Lisa Ailor, all of Knoxville, TN; Kim Duke and husband, Timmy, Scottsville, KY; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Robin Pitts; 1 granddaughter: Misty Vanwinkle; 2 brothers: Bill West and Bud West; 3 sisters: Mary Pugh, Dorothy West and Anna Grace Curington. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro.

Don Rhoads and Bro. Eric Latimer officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and after 7:00 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Goad Funeral Home.
