Marverine Bonds, 83, of Scottsville, KY passed away Monday, June 25, 2018 at the Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care. The Scottsville, KY native was a homemaker, retired employee of General Electric and member of Pleasant Grove General Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Rev.

George Curtis Brown and Eura Faye Kepley Brown and wife of the late Rev. Lonnie “‘L.V.” Bonds. She is survived by 3 sons: Jimmie Bonds and wife, Regina; Jerry Bonds and wife, Sharon and Tim Bonds and wife, Angel, all of Scottsville, KY; 1 daughter: Jeleta Bonds, Bethpage, TN; 2 brothers: Harold Gene Brown and wife, Brenda, and Freddy Joe Brown and wife, Jannice, all of Scottsville, KY; 9 grandchildren: Patrice Welch (David); Sandi Long (Ben); April Sullivan (Lucas); Bradley Bonds (Wendy); Corey Bonds (Katherine); Amanda Hurt (Nick); Katie Bonds; Meaghan Baker (Brandon) and Caleb Eicher (Lindsey); 23 great grandchildren and 2 unborn great grandchildren; 4 nieces and 1 nephew.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Willie B. Lyles, Bro. Nick Hurt and Bro.

Lucas Sullivan officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Friday at Goad Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Gideons.
