Michael S. Fitzpatrick, age 63 of Clairton, passed away at home on Friday, February 1, 2019. Born April 23, 1955 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Charles W. Fitzpatrick, Sr. and Mary (Mellinger) Fitzpatrick. A former engineer for CSX Railroad, Michael also co-owned many local businesses over the years with his beloved twin brother Charles W. Fitzpatrick, Jr., who passed away February 17, 2017.

He was also a US Army Veteran and a member of both St. Clare of Assisi Parish in and the American Legion Daniel Keffer Post #75 , both of Clairton. He also was a dog lover, and he will be missed by his two pups: Timber and Jasper. Michael is survived by his wife of 27 years Sandy (Cook) Fitzpatrick; his sisters Jean (the late Bob) Grier, Linda (Frank) Podrosky, and Michele (Bill) Walters; his nieces and nephews: Dawn, Carl, Lisa, Stephen, Jenny, Bill , and Rob; and also great-nieces and great-nephews.

There is no vistation scheduled for Michael. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 in St. Clare of Assisi Church, Clairton, at 11 AM. Interment will be private.
