Michael W. Paxson August 31, 1966 – May 29, 2019 Share this obituary Upload Photo| Send Sympathy Card Michael W. Paxson, age 52, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at his home. He was born on August 31, 1966 in Springfield, Missouri the son of Michael Joseph and Juanita (Potter) Paxson. He grew up in Stafford, Missouri and graduated from Strafford High School in 1984 where he excelled in athletics and academics.

In 1990 he enlisted in the United States Army and served as a Sargent. He was honorably discharged in 2000. Mike was united in marriage to Ronda Williamson on August 20, 1999.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, his father and a son Kyle Andrew Paxson. He is survived by his wife, Ronda Paxson, of the home, his mother Juanita Paxson, of Strafford, Missouri, a son Michael Paxson, of Springfield, Missouri, a stepson Jesse Bowden, of Colorado, a granddaughter Lexie Paxson, of Springfield, Missouri, a sister Andrea Paxson, of Strafford, two brothers; Travis Paxson and Wade Paxson, both of Springfield, nephews Austin Baker, of Florida and Drew Paxson, of Springfield, two very faithful caregivers; Mera Stephens, of Warsaw and Terrie Lutjen, of Cole Camp, Missouri and a faithful bloodhound “Tilly”. Mike is also preceded in death by numerous other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services for Michael W. Paxson will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the Strafford United Methodist Church in Strafford, Missouri. Military Rites and Interment will follow the funeral at the Dishman Cemetery near Strafford. Memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association c/o the Reser Funeral Home 101 W. Main Street Warsaw, Missouri 65355.
