Obituary for Mr. Mike Ingold Michael Dennis “Mike” Ingold, 68, of Sophia, died Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at his residence. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2018, at Ridge Funeral Home. A native of Randolph Co., NC, Mr. Ingold was born March 20, 1950.

He was the former owner and operator of Mike’s Muffler Shop for 33 years, and was very willing to help his customers that he deeply appreciated. He liked NASCAR racing and famous for his potato salad and coleslaw. He was very good at gardening and could grow anything.

He also loved music and playing the guitar, and going to the beach. Mr. Ingold was preceded in death by his father, Wayland Ingold; brother, Danny Ingold; and sister, Linda Ingold Routh. Survivors include his wife, Angie Cross Ingold, of the home; sons, Brian Ingold and wife, Wendy, of Asheboro, Mark Ingold, of Sophia; mother, Ruth Brady Ingold, of Sophia; granddaughter, Marissa Ingold; and several nieces and nephews.
