Mrs. Mildred C. Hill, 98, of Low Moor, Iowa, died Wednesday evening, November 28, 2018, at Westwing Place, Dewitt. Mrs. Hill, the former Mildred Catherine Wagner was born August 20, 1920, in rural Donahue to the late Luther Dave and Inga Marie (Wolfe) Wagner. She was a graduate of Clinton High School.

Mildred married Cleo E. Hill, July 27, 1941 at the United Methodist Church, Low Moor. The couple resided in Low Moor where they raised their family of four children. Cleo preceded Mildred in death December 13, 1956.

She was employed as a bookkeeper at Schnack Feed and Wisor’s Feed and Grain in Low Moor for 42 years, until retirement. Millie also served as treasurer for the City of Low Moor for 46 years, retiring in 2009. She was longtime and active member of the United Methodist Church, Low Moor.

She enjoyed gardening and word search puzzles. Millie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who took great pride in her family. Surviving are children, Barbara (Norman) Garson of Charlotte, Mildred Sharon (Gary) Welch of Washington, West Virginia, Bonnie (Bob) Summers of DeWitt and Gary (Andrea) Hill of Camanche; grandchildren, Jim Garson, Jenny (Joel) Brown, Scott (Christy) Welch, Sarah (Pat) Wigal, Zachary (Tina) Summers, Joshua Summers, Susan (Jason) Richard and Gregory Hill; ten great-grandchildren, eight step-great-grandchildren, three step-great-great-grandchildren.

Millie was also preceded in death by, a brother, Dale Wagner and a sister, Dorothy Olson. The family will receive relatives and friends at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt from 9:00 until 11:15 a.m. Monday, December 3, 2018. A service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with Pastor Chrstine Minor-Heilig officiating with burial at Elmwood Cemetery, DeWitt.

Pallbearers will be Jim Garson, Scott Welch, Zachary Summers, Joshua Summers, Gregory Hill and Joel Brown. Condolences may be expressed at www. schultzfuneralhomes.com.
