Mildred Jane Evans October 16, 1936 – February 27, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Sympathy Card Mrs. Mildred Jane Burnham Evans, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2019. She was born on October 16, 1936, in Cedartown. She was the daughter of the late George William and Carrie Belle Harris Burnham.

Mrs. Evans is survived by her son, Tybee Evans (Denise); sisters, Mary Denton (Jim) and Martha Nichols (JD); granddaughter, Sanibel Elise Evans; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Charles “Buddy” Bridges. Mrs. Evans is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jackie Franklin Evans; sister, Marie Packer and special friend, Jim Logan. The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Mildred Jane Burnham Evans will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at three o’clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev.

Wayne Benefield officiating. Eulogies will be given by Mrs. Sheryl Silva and Dr. Carol Nichols. The family of Mrs. Evans will receive family and friends on Sunday, March 3, 2019 from one o’clock in the afternoon until the funeral service hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as honorary pallbearers: Harold Packer, Matthew Denton, Mark Denton, Travis Denton, Ronnie Spann, Larry St.Clair, and Stan DeHoff. The family has requested that flowers are to be omitted and donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Cedartown Memorial Fund, P.O. 720, Cedartown, GA 30125.
