Mildred L. “Millie” (Machek) Cmar, 90, of Duquesne, died peacefully Tuesday, February 27, 2018 in Riverside Nursing Center, McKeesport. Born in Duquesne, January 23, 1928, she was the daughter of the Late Charles and Anna (Carpek) Machek. Mrs. Cmar was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, West Mifflin, The Confraternity of Christian Mothers, K of C Senior Citizens, K of C 4210 Auxiliary, Duquesne Annex Senior Citizens, and a graduate of Mason/Frederick Beauty School.

She was the beloved wife of the Late Joseph B. Cmar. This year they would have celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary. She is survived by their loving daughters, Eileen (Patrick) Bridge of Forest Hills, Joanne (David) Jordan of Port Vue, and Mary Lou (Charles) Mahoney of West Mifflin, eight grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, and lifelong friend Dorothy Stringer.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Szabo and Mary Ann Cohen. Family and Friends will be received from 1-4pm and 6-8pm on Friday, March 2, 2018 in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Richford and Commonwealth Ave. Duquesne.

A Blessing in the Memorial Home on Saturday, March 3 at 9:30am will be followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in Holy Trinity Church with Rev. Thomas Lewandowski, as celebrant. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, West Mifflin.
