Mildred Louise Smith, October 25, 1925 – July 19, 2018 Funeral Services for Mildred Smith, 92, formerly of Stephenville will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 28, at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel in Stephenville with Reverend Buddy Wells officiating. Burial will follow in the West End Cemetery. Ms. Smith died Thursday, July 19, in a Round Rock long-term care facility.

She was born October 25, 1925, in Rule, Texas. She married Wallace Smith on November 2, 1942, in Spur, Texas. She was a retired homemaker and retail sales clerk.

She worked for several years each at Perry’s Variety and Mitchell’s department stores in Stephenville. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Stephenville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Smith of Stephenville, and by her granddaughter, Whitney Smith of Austin.

She was also preceded in death by her ten brothers and sisters. Survivors include two sons, Gary Smith of Austin and Terry Smith of Irving; one granddaughter, Courtney Ring and her husband Brandon of Cypress, Texas; two great-grandsons, Corben Ring and Cannon Ring, both of Cypress; as well as a host of other relatives. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
