OBITUARY Mildred Yarrington September 6, 1926 – October 5, 2018 Mildred Topping Yarrington, died October 5, 2018 at the age of 92. Fortunate daughter of Nathaniel Bundy and Clara Mueller Topping. Dear wife of the late Kent Yarrington (USMC retired); loving mother of Lynn (Robert) Hunt, Victor and Beth Yarrington; adoring grandmother of Jonathon, Blake (Jane) and Sam Hunt; proud great-grandmother of Tyler, Caleb and William Hunt; dear sister of the late Ruth Johnston Godefroy, Wallace and Nathaniel, Jr. Topping; dear sister-in-law of Nancy Lee, Fullerton, CA; aunt, grand aunt and great aunt.

Retiring as executive director emeritus of the American Foundation for Vision Awareness, Mrs. Yarrington devoted her time serving on several boards advocating for developmentally delayed citizens. Mayor Freeman Bosley, Jr. appointed her to the board of the St. Louis Office for MR/DD Res, where she eventually served as board chairperson. Member of Alpha Xi Delta.

Final resting place J. B. National Cemetery. Gathering for remembrance at the family home on October 21st at 3:00 p.m. Those desiring may make a memorial gift to Association on Aging with Developmental Disabilities.
