Mildred Beverly (Dillon) DeHaven of Hatboro passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018. She was 92 years old. Beverly was born on July 6, 1926 a daughter of the late Kenneth and Mildred (Howe) Crossman from Worcester, MA.

Beverly attended Public School 78 in Queens, NY and graduated Upper Moreland High School, class of 1943. She began her career at Johnsville Naval Air Station in Warminster as a mail clerk where she met her husband John Dillon. Her career continued at Willow Grove Naval Air Station as an accountant where she retired after 31 years of service.

After retiring she worked at Santerian’s Department Store, and later worked for over 10 years with her sister Shirley Nuss at Alison’s Attic, a family owned consignment shop where she enjoyed conversing with local customers. Beverly loved shopping and was the happiest when she was giving gifts to family. She enjoyed watching the Phillies, singing around the house, and especially cherished the annual family vacations in Beach Haven, NJ.

Beverly is survived by her children, Michael Dillon (Barbara) and Lynne Heiduk (Heinz), six grandchildren, Brian Dillon (Gina), Kristina Dillon, Tiffany Dillon, Erika O’Neill (Matthew), Douglas Heiduk (Meghan) and Alicia Heiduk and 10 Great grandchildren. Beverly was preceded in death by her first husband John F. Dillon and her second husband Robert DeHaven and a sister Shirley Nuss. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Thursday, September 6th at 10am in the Wayside Chapel on the grounds of Whitemarsh Memorial Park Cemetery, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, Pa 19002 and to attend her Funeral Service at 11am.

Her interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park Cemetery at the above address. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mildred Beverly’s name to Jefferson Hospice at Warminster, 225 Newtown Road, 3rd floor, Warminster, PA 18974 or to the Alzheimer’s Association, Delaware Valley Chapter, 399 Market Street, #102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
