Obituary for Millicent “Millie” Booth (Greason) Watertown, MA Millicent Greason “Millie” Booth, 93, lifelong resident of Watertown, died March 6, 2018. She was born in Waterbury, CT on December 12, 1924, the daughter of Walter and Mildred (LeFage) Greason and graduated from Watertown High School in 1943. She then earned both her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Education from Central Connecticut State College.

On August 9, 1947, she married Willard Armstrong Booth. They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary this past year. Millie was a Business teacher at Naugatuck High School for nearly 40 years, retiring in 1987.

Millie was a strong willed member of the First Congregational Church of Watertown. She enjoyed counted embroidery, knitting, reading, and travelling all over the world with Willard. She was a great cook who loved tomato aspic and tag sales.

An active member of the Lady Shrine for Sphinx Temple in Newington, CT, she also volunteered with the Book Nook at Watertown Library for over 27 years. Millie is survived and will be missed by her husband, Willard; two daughters, Sally Wellman and husband Tom of Kennebunk, ME, Susan Booth of Stockbridge, MA; two grandchildren, Jamie Lessard and Lisa Wellman; three great grandchildren, Brady, Megan and Kelsey. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Watertown with services at a later date.
