Millie Diane Heavner, age 79, of Ozark, passed away Monday, January 14, 2019. She was born June 12, 1939 in Buffalo, Missouri, the daughter of John Wesley Clark and Marie Diane (Stroud) Clark. Her parents owned a jewelry store in Hermitage for over 50 years, as Millie was growing up.

She was a 1957 graduate of Hermitage High School and in1958 was united in marriage to Robert Theodore Heavner. Millie was a member of Hermitage First Baptist Church. Survivors include: A son, Robert Theodore Heavner II of Kansas City; three grandchildren, Justin Wesley Heavner, Grant Tyler Heavner, and Megan Marie Irizarry; a great-granddaughter, Isabella Marie Irizarry; an uncle and aunt, Guy and Virginia Stroud of Colorado; and other relatives and friends.

Millie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, in 2005, a son, Joel Kevin Heavner, and a brother Merle Clark. A graveside service will be 10:00 AM Friday, January 18, in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
