Obituary for Betty Hewett Betty Hewett, 83, entered her eternal rest in Heaven on January 7, 2019. She was born on July 7, 1935. The daughter of Cecil and Ruby Hooper.

Betty passed away peacefully at The Baptist Home in Ozark with her family at her side. She married Melton Hewett on December 6, 1952. Betty loved attending Bible study and worship and was an avid bingo participant!

In fact, she won a round of bingo the Friday morning before she passed away. We were all touched by her beautiful smile. Survivors include; Her daughters, Melinda Vance and husband Gary of Branson, Melita Yarberry and husband Kenny of Branson; 9 grandchildren,12 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

Her sisters Shirley George of Whittman. Betty is preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Ruby Hooper; Husband Melton Hewett; Son Gary Hewett; and Daughter Melissa Weismann. Services will be held at The Baptist Home in Ozark Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 2 PM.
