Funeral Services for Miss Baxter will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11 Am at A. A. Dicks Funeral Home. Interment will follow in The Promised Land Cemetery. A. A. Dicks Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements.

Miss Baxter was in Springfield, South Carolina to the late Marion and Beulah Washington Baxter. She was retired from South Carolina State government after 35 years of service. Marilee’s hobbies were gardening, doing puzzles and reading.

She attended Union Baptist Church until her health declined. Miss Baxter is survived by her sisters, Dorothy Yon and Jennie Baxter both of Columbia, SC. ; a special nephew, Leonell Isaac of Columbia, SC.

; nieces, Barbara Williams of Neeses, SC. Janice Baker of Columbus, Ohio, Jarutha Arnold of Blackville, SC. and Beatrice Washington of Denver, Co.; Nephews, Charles Isaac of Neeses, SC.
