Obituary for Mitchell Matthew Mainer A graveside service for Mitchell Matthew Mainer, age 64, of Maydelle is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Rev. Jack White officiating under the direction of Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home. Mr. Mainer passed away June 11, 2018 at his residence.

He was born October 26, 1953 in Rusk to the late Curtis Welton and Lela Mae Phillips Mainer. Mr. Mainer was a lifelong resident of Maydelle and worked as a saw hand all of his life. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and was a member of Mt.

Hope Missionary Baptist Church, loved plants and gardening, hunting and fishing, his dogs and music. He was an avid reader as well and a sharing man. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Pam Mainer.

Survivors include his children, Laura and Tommy Farnham of Kilgore, TX, Misti and Brandon Hudnall of Rusk, Wesley and Chad Dyer of Jacksonville, grandchildren, Ethan Hanks and wife Jordan, Emma Hanks and fiancée Cody Beck, Brandy and Stephen Holman, Tiffany and James Hammond, Macie and Camdon Hudnall, Jake and Carson Creamer, Colwin and Hannah Uren, great grandchildren, Marcus Hanks, Camden Hanks, Madison and Mason Holman, Aubrey and Brynlee Hammond, brother, Danny Eric Mainer and wife Joanne of Maydelle, sister, Devvy Ann Langford and husband Randy of Rusk, and a large extended family. Pallbearers will include Matt Garner, L.C. Langston, R.C. Langston, Richard Garner, Larry Ford and Tony Langston. Honorary pallbearers will be Kelly Garner and Ethan Hanks.
