Obituary for Carlene Hamilton Fraim Carlene Minchew Hamilton Fraim went to be with her Heavenly Father on September 11, 2018. Funeral Services are 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mick Guess officiating.

Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Carlene was born on August 15, 1953 to the late Carl Minchew and Ella Mae Smith Minchew Little in Houston, Texas. She lived most of her life in Rusk, Texas.

She retired from Rusk State Hospital after 28 years. Mrs. Fraim also worked at ACCESS MHMR and retired after a total of 33 years in the mental health field. Mrs. Fraim enjoyed her work with the mentally ill population.

She enjoyed bowling, fishing, and her occupation. She was preceded in death by her parents, her late husband Steve Ray Hamilton, her son, Michael Lee Wilson, her step-father, who raised her, Stanley N. Little, and her daughter Michelle Marie Wilson Dean. She is survived by granddaughters, Riki Roberts and Roby Dean of Rusk, Texas, brothers and sisters in law, Roy and Carol Minchew of Houston, Texas, Johnny and Bonita Minchew of Noonday, Texas, Robert Minchew of Rusk, and a sister and brother in law, James and Melba Leigh of New Caney, Texas as well as a great grandson, Quintan Roberts.

Mrs. Fraim is also survived by her second family, husband, Harry Fraim of Rusk, Texas, step-children, Robin Fraim Iglesias and children of Katy, Texas, Alison Fraim and daughter of San Angelo, Texas, and Keith and Sunshine Fraim and children of Round Rock, Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Pallbearers are Tony Jenkins, Dalton Wynn, Koby Copley, Michael Roberts, Frank Rios and Keith Fraim.

Honorary pallbearers are Roy, Johnny, and Robert Minchew. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 15, 2018 until service time. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Hospice Plus, 321 E Spring St Ste 121, Palestine, TX 75801.
