Mollie S. Hoaglin, 104, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at Lakeview Assisted Living. Mollie Stehla Hoaglin was born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin on March 1, 1914. She was a daughter of Alex and Amalia Stehla.

She was baptized by Pastor G.E. Bergemann, of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, of which Mollie was a life time member, where she always attended services to thank our heavenly Father for the many blessings, bestowed upon her. Mollie attended St. Peter’s Lutheran School, and after graduation from eighth grade, went on to graduate from the Fond du Lac Senior High School. After she graduated she worked in several stores, Woolworth’s and Penneys, but then went to work in the office of the Drs.

D. Meiklejohn and Dr. W. C. Wojta. On April 8, 1943, she was united in marriage to Harold Hoaglin, at St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church.

After her marriage she continued working for the doctors. She resided with her parents, while her husband served in the United States Air Force, during World War II. After the war ended and her husband was discharged, they established their own household, where they later were blessed with two loving sons, James and Ronald.

Her husband preceded her in death on October 7, 1992, just six months before their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Mollie loved her family and enjoyed taking care of them. Their home was always filled with joy, love and laughter.

In her spare time Mollie loved to lend a hand to any of her family or friends when needed. She also loved to read, work crossword puzzles, and watch the Brewers and Packers on TV. She is survived by her son, Ronald (Pamela) Hoaglin of Fond du Lac, her daughter-in-law, Sue Hoaglin of Fond du Lac, two grandsons: Scott and Todd; and two great-grandchildren.

She is further survived by other relatives and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son James, three sisters and two brother-in-law’s. VISITATION: Friends may call on Monday, February 4, 2019, from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter’s Ev.

Lutheran Church, 1600 S. Main Street, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 4, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church, with Rev.
