Molly B. Cooperider, loving wife, mother and grandmother went to her reward with Lord God on Saturday, January 12, 2019. She was born in Columbus, Ohio, on November 29, 1933 to Charles A. and Ethel V. (Briggs) Benner. She was a “stay at home Mom” and with her husband Robert J. Cooperider, raised their sons, Todd J and Jay B. Cooperider.

She was active in church work in various capacities at United Methodist Churches in Columbus, Kettering, Brecksville, Independence, Sylvania and Toledo, OH. Molly also volunteered at Flower Hospital and Lake Park in Sylvania for many years. One of her many joys in life was playing bridge where she made many dear friends.

She and Bob celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in 2018 and she also celebrated her 85th birthday in 2018. She has completed a meaningful and fulfilled life here on earth. Preceding Molly in death in addition to her parents, are her son, Jay B. Cooperider; sisters, Virginia Mae Parry and Charlotte Ann Stephens.

Surviving Molly are her husband, Robert J. Cooperider; son, Todd J. (Jennifer) and daughter-in-law, Karen (Scott) Beasley; grandchildren, Megan (Jason) Wendholt, Daniel J. Cooperider, Zane B. (Becca), Jeffrey S. and Lauren A. Cooperider; many nieces, a nephew and her beloved Himalayan cat, Smokey. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at McCord Road Christian Church, 4765 McCord Road, Sylvania, OH 43560. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to McCord Road Christian Church.
