Obituary for Mona L. Belczyk Mona L. Belczyk, 77, of Belle Vernon, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 in her home. A daughter of the late Carl Wolford and Helen Curtis Wolford who survives and resides in Belle Vernon, she was born in Hamilton, OH on August 23, 1940. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Belle Vernon.

Mona loved her dogs and birds, enjoyed writing, baking cookies and her flower garden. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Stanley J. Belczyk, two daughters and a son-in-law, Sherry Poland Zelinsky of Belle Vernon and Lana and Charles Burgess of Monongahela, a son and daughter-in-law, Christopher M. and Linda Belczyk of New Castle, DE, and two brothers, Carl “Buzzy” Wolford of Monessen and Robert Wolford of Mt. Pleasant, 12 grandchildren; Candace Dolfi of Perryopolis, Shannon Zelinsky of Belle Vernon, Carlie Poland and Garrett Poland, both of Richeyville, Rachael Ladisic of Greensburg, Tiffany Flick of California, PA, Rebecca Shunk, Cassandra Shunk, and Quincy Burgess, all of Monongahela, Natasha Sherrill of Anchorage, AK, Salina Belczyk of Richmond, VA and Michael Lilly of Kingsport, TN, and 7 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Charles Poland on February 5, 2017 and a brother, Jack Wolford. Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 9 P.M. in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon. 724-929-5300 www.
