Obituary for Myron Hal Visser Beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather, Myron Hal Visser, went home to be with the Lord on July 9, 2018. Myron was born on October 29, 1942, in Monroe, S.D. to John & Matilda Visser. Myron died peacefully in his home in Greenville, S.C., with family members present.

Myron is survived by his wife of 50 years, Janet Lee Visser. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, John & Christine Visser, and 5 daughters and sons-in-law, Melanie & David Collins, Andrea & Michael Woodring, Laura & Scott Pryor, Paula & Jason Shepherd, and Rita & Clayton Barrett. Myron is survived by 20 grandchildren.

He is also survived by his brother, Benton Visser, of Monroe, S.D. A memorial service for Myron will be held on Saturday, July 14, at 3 p.m. at Heritage Bible Church in Greer, S.C. Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m. at the church. Myron wore many hats: Adventurer, Inventor, Engineer, Farmer, Life Coach, Philosopher, and Teaching Pastor, to name a few. The roles he enjoyed the most were that of a loving husband and father.
