OBITUARY Myron J. Croft June 9, 1924 – January 25, 2019 Myron J. Croft, 94, beloved father, grandfather and friend, passed into heaven on January 25, 2019. He was born June 9, 1924 in Sage, AR. He grew up on a cotton farm in Arkansas.

After high school graduation, he moved to Wichita. He worked for Dillon’s Stores for 42 years primarily as a store manager and he also served as Chairman of the Board of Dillon’s Credit Union. After retirement in 1987, he enjoyed playing golf at Rolling Hills and studying the Bible.

He was a volunteer for Compassion International, which gave him great joy. He was happily married to Nelda Croft for 54 years until her passing in 2010. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Maude and Anna Croft; sister, Mary Lee Edmondson; brothers, Kenneth Croft and William Gayle Croft.

Survivors include son, Mark (Theresa) Croft Olathe, KS; daughter, Janet (Lanny Butner) Johnson Wichita, KS; grandchildren, Noah Croft, Sophie Croft, William Hill, Erica Johnson as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 30, 2019 with family receiving from 5-7 pm. Funeral service is 10 am Thursday, January 31, 2019, both at Resthaven Mortuary.

Memorials may be given to Pathway Church, 2001 N. Maize Rd. , Wichita, KS 67212 or Union Rescue Mission, 2800 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219. FAMILY Mark Croft, Son Theresa Croft, Daughter-in-law Janet Johnson, Daughter Lanny Butner, Son-in-law Noah Croft, Grandchild Sophie Croft, Grandchild William Hill, Grandchild Erica Johnson, Grandchild Nelda Croft, Wife Maude Croft, Father Anna Croft, Mother Myron also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends to cherish his memory.
