Obituary for Myron Reed FORT WORTH – Myron Reed, surrounded by his loving family, peacefully left this life Wednesday May 9, 2018. Myron was born Dec. 30, 1933, to Russel and Minnie Lee Reed and lived his life in Fort Worth.
He proudly served his country as a U.S. Marine, which was a great honor for him. Myron’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to start Comfort Builder’s with his son, Russ. Along with the homes they built, many lasting friendships were made.
He leaves a legacy of being a man who was respected, admired, cherished and loved by many. Honorable was a word used to describe him often. He was a selfless man, thinking of others before himself.
He loved his family above all. He would have said “The bar is open … it’s 5 o’clock somewhere, have one on me”. Myron was preceded in death by his only son, Russ Reed; parents; and sister.
