Obituary for Myrtle Elaine Glass (Adams) Myrtle Elaine Adams Glass 1936-2019 Myrtle Glass, 82, of Argillite passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 at her residence. She was born March 1, 1936 in Carter County a daughter of the late Luster and Selma Fite Adams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents by whom she was raised, Robert and Thestle Adams; three brothers, Bob, Ronnie, and David Adams; two sisters, Nadine Wooten, and Virginia Webb.
She was a homemaker, a mother and a Member of the Wilson Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Hubert Glass; two sons , Brian (Donna) Glass, and Kyle (Carrie) Glass all of Argillite; a daughter, Kim (Greg) Stumbo of Leesburg, FL; two sisters, Ida Janet Kiser of Inverness, FL, and Rosale Carrington of Cincinnati, OH; nine grandchildren, Emily, Kylor, Savannah (Chad), Brianna (Austin), Brandon, Boyd, Brody, Drew,(Tina) and Kayla (Randy); four great- grandchildren, Kenton, Weston, Bentley, and Ava Funeral services will be Sunday, January 20, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, Joe Ed Rice, minister. Burial will follow in the Veterans Cemetery Northeast .
