Obituary for Myrtle K. Pyle (Gambill) Myrtle Kay Pyle, age 74, of Joplin, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Pyle, daughter of Paul and Jesse (Clark) Gambill, was born on September 22, 1944 in Joplin, Mo. On February 11, 1977 she was united in marriage to Charles Pyle in Joplin, Mo.

She was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse having worked previously for Four-State Regional Dialysis, Mercy, and then retiring as charge nurse from Spring River Christian Village. Kay enjoyed and was a devoted mother and grandmother, but her mission in life was spreading love and the word of the Lord. Her passion in life was painting, writing gospel music, performing, and spreading the Lords word with her music.

She was devoted in the Ralph Beasley ministry with Souls Harbor for over 35 years. Survivors include her husband, Charles Pyle, of Joplin, MO; three sons, Paul H. Moser, and his wife, Shelly, of Tulsa, OK, Don J. Moser, of Joplin, MO, and Dow C. Bible, and his wife, Lilly, of Houston, TX; two daughters, Jean Ann Kennedy, and her husband, Jerry, of Joplin, MO, and Holly Clair Bailey, and her husband, Brian, of Wichita, KS; twelve grandchildren, Kaytie Fry, Sarah Watts, Megan Fisher, Lindsey Kubicek, Robert Murphy, Jesse Moser, Justine Murphy, Matthew Moser, Brianna Bailey, Lily Bailey, Sydney Bailey, and Andrew Bible; and 15 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Kelly Rae Murphy; one brother; and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday November 15, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Mason-Woodard Mortuary in Joplin with burial to follow at the Saginaw Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday November 14th from 6:00-7:00 pm at the mortuary. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
