Nadene Hoing, 81, of Macomb, IL died at 4:25 am Wednesday February 27, 2019 at her home in Macomb. She was born on August 3, 1937 near Colmar, IL to Newell and Bernice Lester Clark. She married Joseph P. Hoing on November 13, 1955 in Rushville, IL.

He preceded her in death on August 28, 1986. Nadene attended White Flock School and Colchester High School. She had been employed as a meat cutter at Rhodes Red Fox in Plymouth, IL, a waitress at Pagliai’s Pizza and the Student Prince in Macomb, IL.

She attended Macomb Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing dominoes and rummy and spoiling her 3 grand puppies, Muffin, Max and Molly. Nadene was known for her sense of humor and positive outlook on life.

She enjoyed giving people that she liked a hard time, and she appreciated it when they were able to give it right back to her. She is survived by her daughter, Sabrina (Brian) Pilger of Macomb, IL; 2 grandchildren, Weston (Miri) Roberts of Thornton, CO and Kaileigh (Connor O’Banion) Roberts of Denver, CO; a great-grandson, Evan Plough; 2 brothers, Richard (Helen) Clark of Colchester, IL and Stanley (Paula) Clark of Plymouth, IL; 3 sisters-in-law, Lynda Clark, Janet Clark and Ruth Clark and her close cousin and best buddy, Norma Gooding of Plymouth, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers, Gerald, Roger and Larry Clark.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Monday March 4, 2019 at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta, IL with Rev Judy Davenport officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s cemetery near Colmar. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 pm Sunday March 3, 2019 at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta.

Memorials may be made to MDH Hospice or Macomb Church of the Nazarene. The Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta, IL is handling arrangements.
