Nadine Walker, 94, of Burlington, died at 1:25 PM Sunday, September 9, 2018, at the Great River Hospice House in West Burlington. Born May 13, 1924, in Chadwick, MO, she was the daughter of Walter Robert and Cora Elizabeth McNeil Calvin. On August 4, 1943, she married Harold Burdette Walker in Danville.

Nadine was a homemaker. She was of Christian faith and was a member of Long Creek Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and spending time with her husband and family.

Survivors include her husband, Harold of Burlington; son, Ronald Lynn (Sharon) Walker of Florida; daughter, Sherry Kay (Ervin) Imm of North Liberty; brother, Jerry Gene Calvin of St. Augustine, FL; two sisters, Jean DiBoye and Velda Darbyshire of Sedalia, MO; three grandchildren: Jackie, Wendy, and Maria (Matt); and three great-grandchildren: Anna, Kate, and Nolan. She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Sonny, Jr., Ralph, Ted, and Armand; four sisters, Chloe, Edna, Dorothy, and Norma Geraldine. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh~Thielen Crematory.

Inurnment at a later date at Long Creek Cemetery.
