OBITUARY Roma G. Agan June 16, 1928 – October 14, 2018 Roma G. Agan, age 90, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on October 14, 2018, at Trinity Center at Luther Park in Des Moines. Roma was born June 16, 1928, in Union County, Iowa, the daughter of Beryl and Mildred (Porter) Shawler. Roma was united in marriage to Charles Thurman Agan on March 12, 1946, in Des Moines, IA.

They settled in the area and welcomed five children. Roma made her hobby her career and owned Agan’s Antiques; she would sell at various shows and had booths at different dealers in the area. She was also a seamstress and amazing cook, which led to her having a catering business.

Left to cherish her memory are Roma’s husband of 72 years, Charles; children: Larry (Nancy) Agan, Tom (Robin) Agan, Robin (Mike) Luke, Michelle Brown and Christina Ortiz; sisters: Wilma Akins, Doris Render and Sharon (Billy) Dunbar, along with 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Memorial services are pending at this time. The family of Roma appreciates the wonderful care she has received from Trinity Center at Luther Park for the past 8 years.
