Obituary for Nancy A. White (Foust) Nancy A. White, 75, of Pleasant Hall, departed this life on the morning of Saturday, November 24, 2018, at her home. She was born on October 8, 1943, in Letterkenny Twp. , a daughter of the late J. Ross and Mary Elizabeth (Holtry) Foust and married Richard C. “Dick” White on July 5, 1966.

He preceded her in death on March 26, 2011. Nancy was currently working in the bakery at Weis Market, Shippensburg and in the cafeteria at the Winebrenner Theological Seminary, Scotland. She retired from the Beistle Company, Shippensburg, and also worked at Kid’s Count Day Care, Shippensburg.

Nancy attended the Lurgan United Brethren Church; was a member of the Order of Eastern Star; and a volunteer and supporter of ITP Matters, Chambersburg. She was a former member of the Pleasant Hall V.F.C. Auxiliary and A.F.S.C.M.E. Nancy loved to camp at the Twin Bridges Campground and always enjoyed singing and dancing. She also had a special place in her heart for children, especially her own grandchildren.

She is survived by one daughter, Kimberly (Gary) McBeth of Chambersburg; two grandsons, Jonathan Ross Acre of Chambersburg and Tanner (Hannah) White of Shippensburg; one brother, Dale Foust of Pleasant Hall; two sisters, Beverly (Gary) Babb of Chambersburg and Donna Rosenberry of Shippensburg; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori A. White; and three brothers, Jack, Robert, and Lester Foust. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2018, at the Lurgan United Brethren Church.

Pastor Stan McCammon will officiate and Pastor Michael Baughman will assist. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hall Cemetery. Viewing will be Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
