Nancy Elizabeth Mitchell, 75, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at her residence. Nancy was born on July 12, 1943 in Springfield the daughter of Herman and Eula Baggerly Kluge. She worked as a Phlebotomist for Physicians Group and later went on to work for Horace Mann.

She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal’s fan and loved animals. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, David Mitchell. She is survived by two sons, Bobby Mitchell of Phoenix, AZ and Michael Mitchell of Payson, AZ; brother, Glenn Kluge of Springfield; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and longtime friends Judith Hughes and Tracy Lay both of Springfield.

Cremation was accorded. Services will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League.
