Nancy Ellen Kitsmiller died peacefully at Mt. Carmel East Hospital on December 17, 2018 at 81 years of age. She was born in Lancaster, Ohio on November 8, 1937.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Catherine (Francisco) Kitsmiller, sister Elizabeth and brother-in-law Thomas Nibert, brothers Harry and Richard Kitsmiller and brother-in-law Roberto Flores. She is survived by brother Thomas (Mary) Kitsmiller, sister Mary Lou Flores, and sister-in-law Shirley “Sue” Kitsmiller and many loving nieces and nephews and friends. She had retired from the State of Ohio, Bureau of Unemployment Services after many years of service.

For many years Nancy volunteered with Courage Incorporated working with and visiting many people with disabilities. She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church in Gahanna. Friends may call Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home, 403 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215.

Vigil Service at 6:45 pm will conclude the calling hours. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Robert Kitsmiller at 10am on Friday December 21, 2018 at St Matthew Catholic Church.

Burial will follow at St Mary Cemetery in Lancaster, Ohio.
