REGNAIERE, Nancy I. (Parrott), 79, of Barbs Hill Rd. , passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, February 1, 2019 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. She was the wife of the late Emery Regnaiere.

Born in Coventry, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Dottie I. (Malbaurn) Parrott. Nancy worked for the State of Rhode Island for 28 years, beginning at the Eleanor Slater Hospital and retiring in 2003 from the Adult Correctional Institute as the Senior Store Keeper. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and enjoyed going to the casino.

She is survived by her loving children, Beth Wood and her husband Carl of Coventry, Everett Remington and his wife Carol of Bardstown, KY, Gail Kelvey and her husband John Kissimmee, FL, Wayne Regnaiere and his girlfriend Tracey, Todd L. Remington and his wife Maryanne of Manassas, VA, and Shane Regnaiere and his wife Tara of Greene; a brother, Thomas Parrott of Coventry; a sister, Carol Roch of Coventry; 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Kathy Remington, Linda C. Regnaiere and William E. Regnaiere. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Committal Prayers at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.

We will gather in front of the administration buildings at 1:30 pm and proceed to the Columbarium for prayers at 2:00 pm. Everyone is invited to join the family for a Memorial Celebration of Nancy’s life from 4:00 – 7:00 pm in the Coventry Men’s Club, 30 Phillips Hill Rd. , Coventry, RI.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 or the National Kidney Foundation, Serving New England, 85 Astor Avenue, Suite 2, Norwood, MA 02062. Arrangements by the Iannotti Funeral Home, Coventry.
