Obituary for Nancy L. Campbell Dateline: Bethalto Nancy L. Campbell, 79, passed away at 6:15 am on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Christian NE Hospital. She was born on July 3, 1939 in Wood River the daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Lemon) Howard. Nancy married Earl R. Campbell on June 7, 1958 at Zion Lutheran Church in Bethalto.

He survives. Nancy worked as a telephone operator at the Illinois Bell for several years. She enjoyed fishing, horses, spending time in her garden and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, Christopher Campbell of Holiday Shores; a sister, Beverly Vernell of Grove Springs, MO and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Howard and Robert Howard. Private Graveside Service will be held at Rose Lawn Memory Garden.
