Nancy’s Obituary Boonville- Nancy L. Wawrzyniak, 81, passed away on February 17, 2019 at Lewis County General Hospital. She was born in Felts Mills, NY on August 14, 1937, a daughter of Raymond and Bessie Lunderman Quay. She married Vincent C. Wawrzyniak at the Holy Family Church, Watertown.

The couple eventually settled at their present Route 12D home where they raised their family. Mr. Wawrzyniak died February 4, 2007. Nancy often called herself a domestic engineer, where she did house cleaning for various families in the area.

She was a lifetime member of the Lowville V.F.W Ladies Auxiliary and a parishioner at St. Mary’s Church, Constableville. Nancy enjoyed painting, sewing, embroidery, cooking and baking for her family, making donuts, country music and Yankee baseball. Surviving are her children that she deeply loved and were the center of her life, Joanne and Doug Holland, Mechanicsville, VA, David V. and Debra Wawrzyniak, Boonville, Patti Bourgeois and Randy Fruin, Lyons Falls, Mary and Brian Egnew, West Leyden, Cindy and Doug Nellenback, West Leyden and Kathy Leveseque, Lyons Falls; 14 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lucy Wawrzyniak, Talcottville; her other sissies and 3 amigos and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Nancy was predeceased by a grandson, Jon D. Wawrzyniak on December 5, 2018, a brother, Dan Quay, a sister, Rosemary Robinson and Nancy’s parents. Nancy’s funeral service will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 7 p.m. at Mills Funeral Home, 301 Post St., Boonville. Calling hours will be 4-7 p.m. prior the service.

A spring burial will be at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Constableville.
